Ben Franklin's Inventions

 

Benjamin Franklin was also known as an inventor, he invented a number of things that he thought was an answer to a problem. 

In 1784 he invented the bifocals.                               Bifocals are eyeglasses with an upper and lower half, the upper for distance, and the lower for reading.

The Franklin stove, invented in 1742, is a metal-lined fireplace that stands in the middle of a room. 

 

Franklin also invented the odometer to measure the distance he was travelling on his postal routes 

 

The Armonica was created by using wine glasses of different sizes.  Franklin liked the sound it produced
